The Dual Infeed Fully Automated Palletizing Cell is ideal for the company with a two packaging lines that want a fully automated process. Shipping containers such as cases, pails, fifty pound bags and others are received on a positioning conveyor which will index the packaged product into position for robotic picking. The robot will pick the package and place it into a pattern selected by the operator.
The pallet configurator allows for a variety of pattern options based on the package dimensions. A pallet stack is loaded into the pallet dispenser which indexes pallets onto the pallet conveyor. The pallet pattern is built by the robot based on the recipe selected. Once completed, the full pallet indexes onto the conveyor away from the robot cell for the forklift operator to pick. This increases the total number of packages that can be palletized each hour. The system includes Allen Bradley PLC and Intuitive HMI.
